Role Description
This is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Grand Rapids, MI, for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk. The role involves receiving, inspecting, and verifying incoming shipments, organizing and maintaining inventory, packaging and preparing goods for shipment, and ensuring the safe use of equipment like pallet jacks. Maintaining accurate inventory records and coordinating with team members to ensure efficient operations will also be key responsibilities.
Qualifications
Experience with Shipping & Receiving processes and working knowledge of Packing and using Pallet Jacks
Knowledge of Inventory Control practices and ability to monitor stock levels effectively
Strong Communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members
Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting and moving heavy objects
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Familiarity with warehouse management software is a plus
High school diploma or equivalent is required
