Position Summary The shipping clerk’s primary role is to support the shipping department by inspecting, verifying, processing, and routing product. They assist in cycle count and full physical inventory. And assist with various tasks including order entry, picking, packing, and delivery of both internal and external orders as required. As well as supporting management with any other shipping tasks that must be completed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Prepares shipments, including documentation, for outbound shipments. Manages the Returned Goods process according to the Returned Goods SOP (Standard Operating Procedure).

Delivers stock to the appropriate staging area for departments.

Puts warehoused items in the designated storage areas and rotates stock according to receipt date and expiration dates to ensure proper stock rotation and use prior to expiration.

Notes any short‑dated materials upon receipt (less than 30 days of shelf life) and report to the Warehouse Manager to determine any possible action(s) that may need to be taken.

Assists in cycle count and full physical inventory.

Assists in order entry, picking, packing, and delivery of both internal and external orders as needed.

Assists in preparation, receipt, and distribution of internal, inbound, and external mail as needed.

Performs other duties as required.

High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Must have experience working in a Warehouse environment.

Must have MRP experience.

Strong problem‑solving skills.

Must be able to operate materials handling equipment as needed (forklift, pallet jack, etc.).

Microsoft Excel and Syteline ERP is a plus.

Physical and Environmental Demands Manufacturing environment may be exposed to noise levels, dust, grime and heat. Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
