About the Job
The Artistic Director provides musical and artistic leadership for the organization. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Artistic Director is responsible for shaping the ensemble’s artistic vision, directing rehearsals and performances, selecting repertoire, collaborating with guest artists, and engaging with the Santa Barbara community. Qualifications
Advanced degree in choral conducting or equivalent professional experience required. Must demonstrate success in conducting community, university, or professional choruses with instrumental/orchestral ensembles in performances of major works. Strong knowledge of choral repertoire across historical and cultural traditions is expected. Employment Type
