Overview
Maintenance Worker position at
Lutheran Social Services of Central Ohio . Full‑time day shift. Pay rate between $19–21 per hour.
Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and facility systems.
Complete basic carpentry, painting, flooring, and custodial tasks as needed.
Conduct preventive maintenance and keep all equipment and utility rooms clean and organized.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inventories, work orders, and inspections.
Respond to and prioritize maintenance requests, communicating with residents and the community manager.
Perform regular property inspections and seasonal tasks such as snow removal and grounds keeping.
Support compliance with HUD, OSHA, and LSS safety standards, including participation in inspections.
Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and services.
Assist in unit turnover and reconditioning for new residents.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
3–5 years of experience in building maintenance or related field.
Valid Ohio driver's license, reliable insured transportation, and ability to meet LSS insurance standards.
