Position Summary The asphalt plant operator will repair and maintain the electrical and mechanical components of a hot-mix asphalt plant and operate the plant to produce hot mix asphalt. This position reports to the asphalt plant foreperson and is essential to ensuring the highest quality hot mix asphalt for our customers.
On-the-job training provides opportunities to increase knowledge and skills, grow professionally, and become a valued team member.
This position is a full-time seasonal role, working April through November (weather permitting). Overtime and occasional Saturdays required. Local and regional travel opportunities available.

Qualifications
Mechanical and/or electrical experience preferred.
Great candidates include:
Heavy Duty Mechanic/Fabricator
Welding experience
Electricians with control experience
Must be at least 18 years old.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Physical ability to work in all seasonal weather and environmental conditions.
Ability to listen and take direction from others while being a team player and helping to train less experienced employees.
