About The Role As a

Shipping Clerk

you will pick, pack and load steel tube and pipe while adhering to established procedures and quality standards.

You will also operate standard warehouse equipment to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient material handling.

This role is ideal for someone who is detail‑oriented, safety‑focused and experienced in a fast‑paced warehouse or distribution environment.

Shift: 2nd Shift

What You’ll Do

Champion and enforce safe work practices in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Prepare materials, products, and equipment for distribution and shipment.

Process and fulfill orders from customers and internal teams.

Pick, pack, and stage orders, verifying accuracy using scanning tools.

Load shipments onto flatbed trucks or LTL carriers.

Receive, inspect, and process incoming materials, reporting any damages.

Replenish warehouse stock and rotate inventory using a reach truck or forklift.

Operate forklifts, order pickers, reach trucks, and walkie‑rider pallet jacks to move materials efficiently.

Standardize and optimize shipping and receiving procedures for accuracy and efficiency.

Perform additional duties as assigned to support warehouse operations.

Maintain regular, full‑time onsite attendance as required.

Who You Are

Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience, preferably in steel or tubing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Basic math skills to support accurate order processing.

Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with cross‑functional teams.

Problem‑solving ability to address warehouse and material‑handling challenges.

High attention to detail to ensure order accuracy and adherence to quality standards.

Physical Abilities

Ability to lift and/or move materials (commonly up to approximately 50 lbs) as needed for warehouse tasks.

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the shift.

Ability to bend, twist, stoop, push, and pull while handling materials and operating equipment.

Ability to reach in all directions to complete picking, packing, and loading activities.

Visual acuity required to read labels, scanning tools, and numerical data.

In addition to the base hourly rate, the position offers a production incentive bonus.
