Responsibility Overview
Operate all equipment
Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk‑in cooler
Prepare product
Receive and process telephone orders
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork
Clean equipment and facility daily
Communication and Essential Skills
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers over the phone and in person
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
Must be able to make correct monetary change
Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers for rapid and accurate movements with speed
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
Qualifications
You must be 16 years of age or older
Person with strong personality and people skills
Training & Work Conditions Orientation and training are provided on the job. Work includes exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions, temperatures ranging from 36°F to 90°F or higher, fumes from food odors, exposure to cornmeal dust, cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler, and hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F. Physical requirements include standing, walking, lifting, carrying, and short durations of sitting.
