We’re seeking a highly organized, solutions-driven
Property Manager / Office Manager
to oversee day‑to‑day operations for our commercial real estate development and property management portfolio. This role is responsible for improving internal processes, coordinating tenant communications and maintenance workflows, supporting accounts receivable/payable/payroll functions, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations. You’ll serve as a key point of contact for tenants, contractors, and internal team members—and you’ll help keep the entire organization running smoothly.
Responsibilities
Operations Management
Manage overall office operations to ensure effectiveness across labor allocation, productivity, customer service, quality control, and safety measures
Maintain safe and efficient operations and serve as a company representative on regulatory‑related matters as needed
Improve systems and procedures related to information flow, business processes, and management reporting
Team & Contractor Oversight
Communicate job expectations; plan, monitor, and appraise employees and contractors
Ensure a smooth, consistent flow of information across the company and field teams
Property Management & Tenant Relations
Maintain ongoing communication with tenants and support a high‑quality tenant experience
Assist with lease administration, renewals, and related documentation
Coordinate tenant maintenance requests including scheduling, tracking, dispatching, and follow‑through to completion
Oversee the overall condition of properties
Process Improvement & Reporting
Analyze and improve organizational workflow; prepare action plans; implement standards for productivity, quality, and customer service
Resolve issues, complete audits, and identify opportunities to strengthen performance and accountability
Process and analyze financial reports
HR Administration
Manage staffing administration, wages, hours, PTO tracking, and health insurance administration (as applicable)
Accounting & Payroll Support
Oversee and/or support Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll processes
Ensure accurate recordkeeping and timely processing
Negotiate, renew, and manage annual service provider agreements
Maintain vendor files, insurance certificates, and service documentation
Emergency Availability
Remain available for urgent property‑related emergencies and coordinate rapid response when required
Qualifications
Required Experience
Prior experience in
property management
and
office management
preferred
Proven ability to coordinate multiple priorities with strong follow‑through and attention to detail
Strong communication skills with tenants, vendors, contractors, and internal team members
Ability to interpret and navigate leases and renewals (training/support as needed)
Process improvement mindset with the ability to implement practical systems
Strong judgment, discretion, and professionalism
Software Proficiency
Microsoft Office (required), including:
Excel (advanced)
Word
Outlook
QuickBooks (required)
PowerPoint (preferred)
Typical Workload
Monday–Friday:
8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Saturday:
Available for phone calls (Self Storage)
On‑call emergencies:
As needed (nights/weekends)
What Success Looks Like
Tenant requests are responded to promptly and tracked through completion
Vendors are managed proactively; contracts are organized and renewed on time
AP/AR and payroll support stays accurate, on schedule, and well‑documented
Operational workflows become clearer, faster, and more consistent over time
Compensation
Salary Range - $65,000-$75,000
