Job Opening Experienced Flatbed Tow Truck Operator
Location: Sugar Land, TX 77498
Schedule: Monday–Friday, no nights, occasional Saturdays
Pay: $18-25 per hour – based on experience
About the Position We are looking for a skilled and reliable Flatbed Tow Truck Operator to join our team. This position is Not For Hire work — you are not chasing accidents, customer calls, or roadside events. Your primary responsibility will be transporting vehicles between facilities in a safe, professional, and timely manner.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of professional tow truck experience (Flatbed, wheel lift, self-loader, tow dolly, or repo industry experience encouraged)
Valid TDLR Tow Operator License
Clean MVR and ability to pass random drug tests
Age 24+ (insurance requirement)
Class B CDL preferred but not required
Must possess or be able to acquire a DOT medical card
Ability to hook, load, and unload vehicles without physical restrictions
Experience operating Flatbed wreckers
Experience operating Wheel lifts
Experience operating 4 Car Flatbed wrecker
Strong communication skills and reliability
Responsibilities
Maintain clear and consistent communication with dispatch/office staff
Safely operate a flatbed wrecker with wheel lift, including double-loading vehicles
Transport vehicles from one lot to another
Perform all tasks in accordance with company safety protocols
Conduct routine maintenance and pre-trip/post-trip inspections
Operate equipment efficiently and safely at all times
