We are searching for qualified customer service representatives with personality and people skills.
This role includes handling orders over the phone, preparing product, operating equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe store environment.
You will work part or full time, with flexible schedules that accommodate school or other commitments. Responsibilities
Operate all equipment. Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler. Prepare product. Receive and process telephone orders. Clean equipment and facility approximately daily. Make and label boxes. Training
Orientation and training provided on the job. Essential Functions / Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator). Must be able to make correct monetary change. Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders. Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed. Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen. Work Conditions
Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing other outside tasks. In‑store temperatures range from 36°F to 90°F or higher in some work areas. Sudden changes in temperature in work area and while outside. Fumes from food odors. Exposure to cornmeal dust. Cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler. Hot surfaces or tools from oven up to 500°F or higher. Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts. Physical Requirements
Standing: most tasks are performed from a standing position. Walking: for short distances and short durations. Surfaces: ceramic tile, bricks, and linoleum in some food process areas; height of work surfaces is between 36 and 48 inches. Seating: paperwork is normally completed in an office at a desk or table. Lifting: bulk product deliveries are made twice a week or more and are unloaded by a hand truck; deliveries up to 50 pounds. Carrying: large cans (3‑7 ounces) and pizza sauce (30 pounds) to storage or front of store; trays of pizza dough (12 pounds each) carried three at a time. Pushing: trays on dollies (24‑30 inches long) requiring up to 7.5 pounds of force; trays may also be pulled. Climbing: navigate stairs or climb a ladder to change prices, wash walls, or perform maintenance. Stooping/Bending: forward bending at the waist necessary at the pizza assembly station; duration about 30‑45 seconds at a time, repeated continuously during the day. Crouching/Squatting: performed occasionally to stock shelves or clean low areas. Reaching: continuous reaching up, down, and forward; occasional reaching > 72 inches to turn ovens, change signs, lift/lower shelves. Hand tasks: eye‑hand coordination essential; use of hands continuous; frequent and forceful use of forearms and wrists when shaping dough or handling pizza peel and cutter; frequent pinching in box assembly.
