Member Duties :
The FSC Coordinator VISTA member will build the capacity of the center by developing and implementing a community closet and food pantry by nurturing relationships to sustain them for families living in high minority, low income communities; supporting a community needs assessment, community asset mapping, and development of resources materials; and researching and supporting fundraising, donations, and pursuit of grant funding for the resource center in Lincoln County in WV. As a result of the VISTA's service, high minority, low income communities will have knowledge of and access to resources and opportunities that can lead to healthier futures and help negate the negative consequences of the opioid epidemic, poverty and learning loss.
