Forklift Operator / Warehouse Worker
Base Pay Range $21.40/hr - $21.40/hr
Department Warehouse
Reports To Supervisor
Schedule Thursday – Saturday alternating every other Sunday, 6:00 am – 6:00 pm.
Job Summary The Forklift Operator / Warehouse Worker helps manage inventory of food products at each stage of the production process, which includes receiving inbound freight, staging goods for production, and loading outbound shipments of finished products. Warehouse Workers will regularly be expected to accurately perform cycle counts and transfer inventory using the MRP system. Additionally, Warehouse Workers should have experience using pallet jacks, forklifts, and reach trucks.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Facilitate inventory control including daily cycle counts and replenish inventory as directed.
Load and unload freight trucks using a forklift; pick and stage raw goods for production orders.
Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipment and production to meet quality and productivity standards.
Compare identifying information and counts, weigh, or measure items of incoming and outgoing product to verify information against bills of lading, orders, or other records.
Understand quality standards, methods, and reporting as required.
Proper use of safety devices, such as lock‑out, as required.
Hold forklift certification.
Perform related duties as assigned by supervision.

Minimum Requirements
Forklift certification, with at least 1 year of forklift experience, or equivalent operating equipment experience required.
Experience with ERP systems and inventory management.
Strong attention to detail, quality orientation, and problem‑solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
Team‑oriented with strong collaboration skills.
Basic math skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Reliable and punctual for assigned shifts or tasks.
Physical Requirements
Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; frequent fine finger dexterity.
Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks over an 8‑hour period.
The job is performed under occasional temperature variations and in a food manufacturing production environment.
Unrestricted visual and audio abilities are required for the safety of all employees.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and assist in lifting up to 150 lbs. with assistance.
