Maintenance and Landscaping Technician

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the overall appearance, safety, and functionality of the mobile home community. This role includes groundskeeping, minor repairs, preventative maintenance, and ensuring the property remains clean, welcoming, and well-kept for all residents.
Responsibilities Grounds Maintenance
Clean, clear and maintain streets & gutters throughout the property
Remove debris, fallen branches, and litter from common areas
Maintain irrigation systems and report or repair leaks
Clear and maintain drainage areas
Other tasks will include (Trash pickup, leaf removal, storm cleanup)
Property Maintenance
Perform minor repairs on community structures (fences, signage, clubhouse, etc.)
Inspect and maintain park amenities such as playgrounds, picnic areas, and common spaces
Assist with upkeep of roads, sidewalks, and parking areas
Report major maintenance issues to management in a timely manner
Handle basic handyman tasks
Maintain maintenance shop, tools and equipment
Clean and maintain office, restrooms, clubhouse and all the interior amenities
Home & Site Preparation
Maintain vacant sites until new or incoming mobile homes arrive
Maintain and Clean vacant homes
Health, Safety & Compliance
Follow all safety procedures and use proper protective equipment
Keep chemicals, tools, and equipment safely stored
Identify and report safety hazards around the property
Comply with community policies and local regulations regarding maintenance and landscaping
Customer Service
Interact with residents in a friendly, professional manner
Respond to resident concerns or service requests when assigned
Help promote a clean, safe, and community-focused environment
Qualifications
Experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or general maintenance preferred
Ability to operate landscaping equipment (mowers, blowers, trimmers, hedgers)
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or irrigation (a plus)
Ability to lift 50lbs+ and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
Valid driver’s license
Additional Information Pay is Depending on Experience
Part-time position depending on property needs
Primarily outdoor work, with some indoor tasks
Split time between two properties
May require occasional weekend or on-call availability for emergencies
