Title: Maintenance Technician (Electrician) - Steel Manufacturer
Location: Solon, OH 44139 (southeast Cleveland)
Hourly Pay: $32 - $40 + Overtime
Targeting individuals with a strong factory / industrial background
Founded in 1992 we are a large steel manufacturer that provides steel processing, reinforcement solutions, sustainability services and distribution for a variety of industries including construction, automotive, agricultural and industrial. We have a facility here in Solon (southeast Cleveland) that has 70 employees and about 10 in the Maintenance department. Our facility focuses more on the specialty wire side (we have alot of wire drawing machines here) as we draw aluminum, stainless steel, carbon and green wire. We're looking to hire a Maintenance Technician (Electrician) with a strong electrical & mechanical background to join our team.
What You Will Be Doing
Perform advanced electrical troubleshooting on wire drawing machines, PLCs & motor controls
Diagnose & repair issues involving Siemens & Allen Bradley PLCs, sensors & micro switches
Support mechanical tasks incl: motor wiring, balancing & tuning - true multi-craft scope
Collaborate w/ our 10 person maintenance team to minimize downtime & respond to urgent breakdowns
Execute preventive maintenance & continuous improvement on specialty wire shaping equipment
What You Need for this Position
Ability to work across electrical & mechanical systems incl: motor hookups & mechanical repairs
Hands-on experience w/ industrial sensors (micro switches, pulse sensors, limit switches etc)
Willingness to work optional overtime & respond to emergency breakdowns when needed
