$21.00/hr - $40.00/hr What you will do
Work on alpha bots and the structures themselves, performing major and minor repairs using craft skills in areas such as electronics, networking, electrical, mechatronics, and robotics. Inspect, operate, or test equipment to diagnose problems; dismantle equipment to access and remove defective parts. Diagnose problems using blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs; use hand tools, power tools, hoists, and related equipment. Provide prompt response to emergency calls and document repair activities. Maintain documentation of repair activities and support Walmart’s exterior service quality standards. Minimum Qualifications
Vocational or technical certification and 3 years' experience in automation, robotics, mechatronics, microelectronics, or related trade, or 5 years' experience in one of these trades. Completion of a 2-year vocational or technical trade program. License in related trade in the city/state where the job is located. Valid Driver’s License. 1–3 years of experience using intermediate-level software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and basic office tools. Mechatronics and automation experience. Experience with circuit boards. Strong customer service and communication skills. Key Responsibilities
Follow established preventive maintenance schedules to ensure safety and proper functionality of equipment. Inspect, clean, and repair equipment or systems; observe and document signs of wear and tear. Recommend repairs to prevent ongoing or future breakdowns. Determine replacement needs and document maintenance activities. Manage work orders and maintenance schedules; complete required written and electronic information. Order and track parts and replacement equipment; record purchases and usage. Submit warranty claims and adhere to OSHA and EPA regulations. Ensure quality work complies with federal, state, and local regulations and Walmart standards; supervise contractors to meet contract requirements. Benefits and Walmart Perks
