Responsibilities

Under direct supervision, the Meat Clerk provides friendly, courteous and helpful customer service.
Assists the customers, cleans shelves, and display cases.
Cleans, fills, and rotates the Meat Wrap displays.
Works with customers to take special orders as well as with the Meat Cutter to determine which items need to be cut.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs., bend, stand and stoop for prolonged periods.
What You'll Bring
Read and write Spanish/English, interact with the general public and co‑workers.
Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
Write simple correspondence.
Effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
It Would Be Extra Awesome if you brought
Basic PC/Outlook skills.
Retail Management Certificate.
Requirements
Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification is required for all positions related to: preparation, handling and serving food.
