Base pay range $42,114.00/yr - $51,870.00/yr
Job Summary/Basic Function Responsible for the on-campus experience of prospective students and guests from their registration through the evaluation of campus tours and visits. Schedule and organize special group tours. Lead a large team of student staff, training them on excellent customer service and approved responses to inquiries. Schedule student staff to ensure adequate tour coverage dependent on what events are scheduled and number of guests on campus. Assist with the selection, training, scheduling, and evaluation of the Blue Elite tour guides. Assist with design and implementation of events and programs to support student recruitment including True Blue 100, Special Tours, and collaborations with academic and student involvement departments. Respond to questions and counsel prospective students and their parents. Serve as liaison with faculty, departments, and staff involved in the admissions visit process. Requires a frequently adjusted schedule including evening, weekend and extended work hours. The Coordinator for Tours and Events will work in conjunction with the New Student and Family Program staff to ensure a seamless transition from prospective students to enrolled students.
Required Education Bachelor's degree
Required Related Experience Entry level position. Training will be provided.
Required License/Registration/Certification TN driver's license
Desirable Related Experience Student leadership positions in tours, orientation, recruitment or related experiences.
