What to Expect As a Sourcer for Tesla's Recruiting Teams, you will lead sourcing efforts across manufacturing, energy, supply chain, logistics, engineering, or skilled trades, supporting a diverse array of technical roles, leadership positions, and other initiatives critical to Tesla's global scale. Thriving in fast-paced, mission-driven environments, you'll leverage advanced sourcing techniques (including Boolean mastery), deep internet research, and strategic networking to identify top-tier candidates who align with Tesla's culture of innovation and operational excellence. With a hands‑on approach, you'll combine exceptional communication skills, interviewing expertise, and relentless curiosity to uncover hidden talent across technical and operational domains—from cutting‑edge engineering to high‑precision skilled trades—directly empowering hiring teams to accelerate Tesla's sustainable energy mission, whether scaling production, optimizing global logistics, or pioneering next‑generation energy systems.

What You'll Do

Identifying and assessing a diverse candidate pool; providing regular updates to recruiting partners and hiring managers

Utilizing multiple tools and approaches to identify the best candidates, including our ATS and third‑party products e.g. LinkedIn or Indeed

Conducting thorough candidate phone screens to assess both a technical baseline as well as the ability to be successful in the Tesla environment

Tracking candidate progress in our ATS and providing regular reporting to hiring managers

Focusing on providing a great candidate experience at every opportunity

What You'll Bring

At least 3+ years' experience in technical and leadership sourcing or recruiting with experience assessing technical talent in manufacturing or similar environments

Proficiency in traditional and unique sourcing techniques to include online social and professional networks in addition to demonstrated ability to source beneath the surface -- targeted sourcing campaigns, targeted networking, calling for names

Understanding of organizational development - demonstrated ability to navigate within a matrix organization to identify and build excellent working relationships with both decision makers and with influential staff

Ability to use data to drive decision making

Expected Compensation $60,000 - $114,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
