Full‑time Desktop IT Analyst at Bank of Hope.
Responsibilities
Manage the IT Desktop asset inventory and portfolio—purchase, deployment, utilization tracking, redeployment, maintenance plans, retirement, and disposal of software and hardware.
Provide day‑to‑day consultation, training, instruction, and troubleshooting to technical staff and end users for hardware, software, and related computer systems.
Reconcile cost centers with the Procurement team.
Research and update new hardware and vendors for IT Desktop.
Support end users for handheld and peripheral devices.
Create ServiceNow tickets to update or improve current or new processes with automation.
Implement performance upgrades to PCs—installation of CPUs, I/O and NIC cards, ribbon cables, hard drives, RAM, CD‑ROMs, etc.
Document instances of desktop equipment or component failure, repair, installation, and removal.
Handle the ticketing system, phone, and email support.
Support may be required in emergencies, either in‑person or remotely, and sometimes after normal business hours.
Qualifications
Fundamental understanding of IT Asset Procurement & Tracking.
Fundamental understanding of Inventory Management & Analysis.
Basic knowledge of IT Desktop’s Vendor Management.
Compliance tracking and management.
Basic knowledge of ServiceNow & Visio.
Ability to troubleshoot PC problems & basic network issues.
Intermediate Microsoft product knowledge (OS & Office suite).
Strong customer service skills.
Strong foundation of MS Windows OS, including AD and GPO.
Familiarity with various MS products, which include MS O365.
Salary range for this position: $20.20 – $21.64 hourly + bonus + benefits.
