is seeking a
Board Certified/Board Eligible OB/GYN
to join our Generalist Division as an
Assistant Professor of Clinical . This role offers a
unique opportunity to provide hands‑on obstetric care while mentoring future physicians
in a highly regarded academic setting.
Position Highlights
Labor & Delivery Focus
– Provide direct inpatient care and consultations at Jackson Holtz Women’s & Children’s Hospital.
Teaching & Mentorship
– Educate and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows.
Collaborative Environment
– Work alongside a diverse team of specialists, subspecialists, and allied health professionals.
Academic Excellence
– Join a department with over 30 faculty members dedicated to clinical care, research, and education.
Research Opportunities
– Engage in patient‑oriented, translational, epidemiologic, and health services research.
Role & Responsibilities
Cover
12 shifts per month
on
Labor & Delivery
(6-day & 6-night shifts, including 2 weekends).
Provide direct care for OB/GYN patients and inpatient consultations.
Use
Cerner
for documentation and
MobileCharge
for billing.
Participate in the education and training of medical students and residents.
Work at multiple sites, including
Jackson Memorial Hospital, University of Miami Kendall Medical Center, Desai Sethi Institute, Doral Commons, and University of Miami Hospital .
Qualifications
MD/DO , Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
Eligible for a
full, unrestricted Florida Medical License .
Minimum
2 years of experience
preferred.
Passion for
patient care, teaching, and academic medicine .
