We are seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant to oversee revenue accounting and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and nonprofit revenue recognition standards. This role is responsible for revenue recognition, AR leadership, and intercompany accounting, while driving process improvements, strengthening internal controls, and fostering cross‑functional collaboration.
Base pay range $105,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr
Key Responsibilities
Oversee revenue recognition for contributions, pledges, and earned income under ASC 606 and ASC 958.
Review complex revenue transactions and maintain accounting policies.
Lead and develop AR processes, including invoicing, collections, and pledge tracking.
Own intercompany invoicing and monthly reconciliations across entities.
Maintain internal controls, prepare audit schedules, and support external audits.
Mentor AR staff and drive automation and efficiency initiatives.
Qualifications
5+ years of accounting experience with revenue recognition and AR; 2+ years in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, ASC 606, and ASC 958.
Experience with intercompany accounting and reconciliations.
Proficiency with accounting systems and advanced Excel.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Preferred
Nonprofit accounting experience.
Experience with pledge accounting and donor‑restricted funds.
Process improvement and automation experience.
