We are seeking a Service Account Executive to grow our recurring revenue stream through strategic partnerships and the preventative maintenance contracts in the Southern California commercial HVAC market.

About the Role The Service Account Executive is a senior-level sales professional responsible for driving revenue growth through the acquisition, renewal, and expansion of commercial HVAC service maintenance agreements. This role leads the full sales cycle—from targeted prospecting to technical assessments, proposal development, contract negotiation, and long-term customer account management.

This position requires HVAC system understanding, proven experience selling service agreements, and the ability to build lasting relationships with key decision-makers across commercial real estate, property management, and facility operations. The Service Account Executive serves as a strategic partner to customers while helping grow the service business and reinforcing the organization's reputation for reliability and excellence.

Who You Are You are a results-driven Commercial HVAC Service Sales professional with a minimum of 4 years of demonstrated success in the industry. You possess a strong technical understanding of mechanical systems, along with proven expertise in preventative maintenance strategies and industry standards. Your track record includes consistently achieving and exceeding ambitious revenue and margin targets. You excel at managing complex accounts with multiple stakeholders and leverage excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills to close deals. Furthermore, you are proficient with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and proposal development tools, and hold a valid driver’s license.

What You’ll Do Strategic Sales & Account Management

Manage a book of business consisting of mid-size to large commercial accounts.

Develop strategic account plans focused on expanding service contract renewals, upgrades, and additional project opportunities.

Serve as the customer’s primary point of contact for maintenance agreements, ensuring exceptional service and retention.

Conduct regular customer meetings, performance reviews, and equipment lifecycle discussions.

Lead Generation & Market Expansion

Identify new business opportunities through targeted prospecting, referrals, and industry relationships.

Participate in networking events, industry organizations, and trade groups to expand brand presence.

Conduct facility assessments and equipment condition reviews to develop customized service recommendations.

Proposal Development & Contract Negotiation

Lead the process for developing comprehensive service agreement proposals.

Present solutions to customers, handle objections, and negotiate pricing/terms.

Collaborate with service management and operations teams to ensure accurate scopes, labor estimates, and service delivery expectations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with the service operations team to ensure proper contract execution and customer satisfaction.

Support construction and retrofit teams by identifying project opportunities from service account insights.

Mentor junior Service Sales Representatives, providing guidance on sales skills and industry knowledge.

What We’re Looking For

4+ years of commercial HVAC service sales experience.

Strong understanding of mechanical systems, preventative maintenance strategies, and industry standards.

Demonstrated success achieving revenue and margin targets.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

Ability to manage complex accounts with multiple stakeholders.

Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and proposal development tools.

Valid driver’s license.
