Base Pay Range $74,581.00/yr - $102,549.00/yr
As a Safety Specialist III at SNC, you will be responsible for technical work across HSE disciplines, focusing on engaging stakeholders, reducing risk, and maintaining HSE programs. You will work individually and in teams to develop, implement and address employee and stakeholder concerns. Your technical responsibilities will be to ensure program compliance with federal, state, and local HSE regulations and standards.
The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, and is a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems.
Qualifications You Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or related field of study, or 6 or more years safety experience in aerospace, military, aviation, or general industry
Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
Knowledgeable with a variety of occupational health & safety standards, EPA, OSHA, and NFPA regulations
Demonstrated ability to conduct a job hazard analysis, site audits, and incident root cause analysis
Fluency with data capture, data analytics, spreadsheets, and presentation
An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
Qualifications We Prefer
Experience with DCMA INST 8210
Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry
Certifications, including Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Occupational Hygiene and Safety Technician (OHST)
