Job Overview
Retention Marketing Manager at KNS International – a leading fashion footwear company with four distinct brands. The role focuses on owning email, SMS, and lifecycle marketing across multiple brands to drive repurchase rates and customer LTV.

We design and distribute men’s and women’s footwear across multiple brands and categories, serving national retailers and driving direct‑to‑consumer growth. Our expanding portfolio includes four distinctive brands – Birdies, Taft, Journee and Vance – that combine creativity, quality, and innovation.
Location Draper, Utah (Hybrid – in‑office days Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays)
Key Responsibilities
Build, schedule, and optimize all email & SMS campaigns and automated flows in Klaviyo.
Own the email and SMS marketing calendar and ensure alignment across key initiatives, seasonal campaigns, promotions, and product launches.
Own the KPIs for retention marketing, including repurchase rate, LTV, churn, cohort health, revenue per send, and flow/campaign performance.
Write and refine email and SMS copy that aligns with brand tone, drives action, and improves conversion.
Utilize technology and AI tools to streamline workflow, generate content variations, and support testing and optimization.
Partner with merchandising to ensure campaigns feature the right products based on inventory, seasonality, and the marketing calendar.
Create creative briefs and collaborate with Creative and E‑commerce to deliver on‑brand, conversion‑optimized assets.
Maintain a consistent campaign cadence aligned with launches, promotions, and brand priorities.
Develop and execute the overall retention + LTV growth strategy, including segmentation, lifecycle optimization, and customer journey improvements.
Use A/B testing, personalization, and cohort insights to improve engagement and repurchase rates.
Manage Yotpo review‑generation programs to increase UGC and strengthen PDP conversion.
Report weekly on retention metrics and deliver actionable insights for leadership.
Analyze customer behavior to uncover opportunities to deepen loyalty and reduce churn.
Qualifications
3+ years in retention, lifecycle, CRM, or email/SMS marketing.
Hands‑on experience with Klaviyo (able to build campaigns & flows end‑to‑end).
Proven copywriting skills for email and SMS.
Strong analytical skills; comfortable with cohort data, GA4, and retention dashboards.
Experience collaborating with merchandising, creative, and e‑commerce teams.
Skilled in writing creative briefs and QA’ing assets for accuracy and brand alignment.
Highly organized with strong project management skills across multiple brands.
Comfortable leveraging AI tools to enhance workflow and campaign performance.
