Media/Marketing Administrator (Hybrid) - Bernard Becker Medical Library Position Summary

This position serves Bernard Becker Medical Library, working closely with library leadership and reporting to the library director.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Develops and manages marketing content for diverse platforms, including websites, social media, email campaigns, and print materials.

Creates and implements marketing strategies to increase awareness and engagement with library services, programs, and resources.

Manages and curates the library's social media presence, engaging users and promoting library initiatives.

Conducts research to understand user needs and preferences and identify new marketing opportunities.

Works with other librarians, faculty, and staff to coordinate marketing efforts and ensure consistent messaging.

Promotes library events and workshops through various marketing channels and provides basic event planning and coordination.

Tracks and analyzes the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and makes data-driven decisions.

Keeps abreast of emerging technologies and trends in library marketing and communication.

Working Conditions:

Normal office environment.

Typically sitting at desk or table.

Repetitive wrist, hand or finger movement.

Occasional lifting (25 lbs or less).

Office equipment.

Education & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required.

Master's degree preferred.

No specific certification or professional license required.

Work Experience:

Marketing experience, 3 years.

Skills:

Backbase Front-End Web Development, Communication, Electronic Media, Interpersonal Communication, Microsoft Office, Oral Communications, Print Media, Project Leadership, Website Content Development, Written Communication.

Driver's License:

A driver's license is not required for this position.

Salary:

Base pay is commensurate with experience.
