Position Summary This position serves Bernard Becker Medical Library, working closely with library leadership and reporting to the library director. The Media-Marketing Administrator plans, develops, refines, and implements targeted marketing initiatives based on library needs and priorities. Responsibilities include creating, managing, and publishing marketing content across websites, social media, newsletters, and print materials. The role also involves analyzing market trends, measuring campaign effectiveness, and staying current with emerging technologies in library marketing and communication.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Develop and manage marketing content for diverse platforms, including websites, social media, email campaigns, and print materials.

Create and implement marketing strategies to increase awareness and engagement with library services, programs, and resources.

Manage and curate the library's social media presence to promote initiatives and engage users.

Conduct market research to understand user needs, preferences, and identify new marketing opportunities.

Collaborate with librarians, faculty, and staff to coordinate marketing efforts and ensure consistent messaging.

Promote library events and workshops through various marketing channels and provide basic event planning support (room reservations, catering, registration).

Track and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and make data‑driven decisions.

Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in library marketing and communication.

Education and Experience Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree.

Work Experience: Marketing (3 Years).

Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree. No additional certifications required.

Grade and Salary Grade: G11

Salary Range: Base pay is commensurate with experience. The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
