This part-time MarCom Manager role offers the opportunity to shape and elevate the visibility of Utah Valley University’s Concurrent Enrollment program through strategic, mission-driven marketing and communications. Working closely with the University’s Marketing and Communications team, the MarCom Manager plays a key role in translating program goals into effective messaging across print, digital, social, and event-based channels. This position allows for meaningful creative influence while supporting a program that expands educational access and student opportunity.

Develop and execute captivating campaigns and initiatives to elevate Concurrent Enrollment. Grow the program and university's brand by forging strong connections with your target audience while ensuring optimal efficiency. Align marketing plans with strategic University goals and make data-driven decisions to achieve the greatest impact. Put cutting-edge media strategies into action, including well-crafted media plans and marketing calendars, to effectively utilize print (posters, brochures, postcards, etc) and digital materials. Direct the creation of eye-catching design, web, video assets, and more to deliver compelling visual communications.

Manage end-to-end creation and utilization of creative assets (photo, design, print, etc.) for Concurrent Enrollment events. This responsibility includes crafting compelling press releases that captivate the media and our community, generating buzz and excitement. Drive promotional efforts, advertising, and communication to engage stakeholders effectively.

Lead Concurrent Enrollment's social media presence and contribute to the look and feel of the department website by crafting, publishing, and monitoring captivating content. Engage actively with the online community to strengthen our online identity in tandem with the University's broader social media endeavors. Expand our reach and impact on multiple platforms with your marketing expertise.

Assume the crucial role of the primary liaison between Concurrent Enrollment and University Marketing, ensuring seamless adherence to university standards regarding logos, design, and communication.

Graduation from an accredited institution with a Bachelor’s degree, plus one year of marketing/design experience OR a combination of relevant education and experience totaling five years.

Knowledge

Knowledge of marketing (direct marketing, advertising, promotion), and communications best practices.

Knowledge of graphic design principles and applications including the Adobe Suite. Demonstrated

Knowledge of best social media pratices and digital marketing best practices and platforms.

Knowledge of digital marketing measurement strategies and principles. Knowledge of budget and accounting principles.

Knowledge of marketing operations and project management. Knowledge of PR, media relations and communication strategies.

Knowledge of media buying, media monitoring, media mix and managing marketing spend.

Knowledge of brand management.

Knowledge, experience, and track record of managing and optimizing campaigns to meet campaign targets.

Knowledge and experience in organizing integrated promotional conversion strategies across diverse audience segments.
