EHS Manager As an

EHS Manager , you will direct and support management of all Environmental, Health and Safety functions, in compliance with Givaudan EHS policies and processes, and with all applicable EHS regulations. You will be responsible for managing risk and driving cultural change to reduce the probability of EHS incidents, manage and optimize the EHS organisation to deliver added value to the organisation. Caronno Pertusella .

Reporting to the Site Director and EHS Corporate Function, you will:

Support and advise site management on all EHS aspects, coaching line managers to embed EHS as a core line responsibility.

Develop and deploy the site EHS vision aligned with the company and global OPS/EHS strategies and local legislation.

Serve as the appointed Prevention and Protection Service Manager (RSPP) according to Legislative Decree 81/08, ensuring compliance with related legal duties.

Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of municipal, regional, and national EHS laws and communicate any key developments or interpretations.

Act as the primary contact with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies, ensuring timely and accurate regulatory reporting and documentation.

Implement and continuously improve site health and safety programs, emergency preparedness plans, and behaviour‑based safety initiatives.

Lead the employee safety committee to foster safety awareness and ensure timely closure of identified issues.

Conduct safety audits, incident investigations, and trend analyses to identify root causes and define corrective actions.

Ensure all EHS Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are tracked, reported, and used to drive performance toward agreed targets.

Deliver and oversee comprehensive EHS training for employees and contractors.

Manage hazardous and non‑hazardous waste in compliance with environmental standards.

Ensure full implementation and maintenance of OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 (or their updated versions: ISO 45001 and ISO 14001) corporate management systems.

Promote initiatives that enhance sustainability and minimize the site’s environmental impact.

Maintain effective relationships with external authorities, community representatives, and internal departments such as Regulatory, IT, and regional management teams.

Ensure collaboration across all functions to integrate EHS principles into daily operations and site improvement activities.

Supervise the operation and compliance of the site Water Treatment Plant, ensuring its environmental performance meets all applicable standards.

Manage the environmental aspects related to the site’s Integrated Environmental Authorization (Autorizzazione Integrata Ambientale – AIA), maintaining full adherence to its requirements and liaising with relevant authorities.
