Qualifications
MN Teaching License in the area of Special Education or related services.
Experience working with elementary students is preferred.
Experience working with White Bear Lake Area Schools cluster programs preferred.
ESY Experience (Preferred)
Compensation and Schedule Salary Range/Hourly Rate: $40 per hour.
Dates of ESY: June 10, 2026 (Set Up) and June 11, 12, 15, 16, 17, 18, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 29, 30 for ESY Programming.
Work Days/Times: Proposed days: Mon-Fri per the ESY calendar; Proposed times: 7:15 am-11:15 am (Dates, times and location may change based on student and/or District needs)

Position Summary The White Bear Lake Area Schools is currently seeking Special Education Teachers to work in our Extended School Year (ESY) program. Performs difficult professional work providing a broad range of teaching and direct instructional services or specific learning programs, assisting students to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed as a foundation for future learning in accordance with each student's ability, using a variety of teaching and learning methods at various levels to a targeted audience, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Student Support Services Administrators. Continuous oversight is exercised over Paraprofessionals - Student Support Services.
Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree with coursework in special education teaching, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Special Requirements
MN Teaching License in the area of Special Education or related services.
Experience working with elementary students is preferred.
Experience working with White Bear Lake Area Schools cluster programs preferred.
