Security Officer - Armed Patrol

Charlotte, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your role involves monitoring assigned areas, responding to situations as needed, and providing exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the financial institution's premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor for suspicious activity and report any irregularities to appropriate personnel. Assist with access control by verifying identification and credentials of individuals entering the location. Support emergency response efforts and coordinate with local authorities when required. Complete detailed incident reports and daily activity logs as directed by Allied Universal and site management. Maintain a professional presence while interacting with employees, visitors, and/or customers at the location.
Minimum Requirements
Candidates must have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age. An armed guard card or license is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Applicants who are comfortable using a computer or tablet are preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
