As a Patrol Armed Officer at a prominent financial institution, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security‑related incidents and respond swiftly to situations as they arise. What You’ll Do
Provide customer service to clients by following security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with problem‑solving skills, including those requiring an armed presence.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the financial institution and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a visible security presence.
Complete detailed reports of incidents, observations, and/or activities during the shift.
Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and vendors while maintaining a courteous and approachable demeanor.
Follow all protocols related to the handling and carrying of firearms as required for armed posts at financial institution locations.
Minimum Requirements
Graduate of Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or Equivalent (required).
Armed Guard Card or License (required).
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Subject to background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
