Security Officer - Armed Patrol Specialist
Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer – Armed Patrol Specialist in Charlotte, NC. As an Armed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol financial institution locations to deter security‑related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. You will conduct regular patrols, maintain a visible presence, and communicate effectively with clients, staff, and visitors.

What You’ll Do
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures and site‑specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and effectively.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including business interior and perimeter.
Maintain a visible presence to deter risks and foster a welcoming atmosphere.
Document and report any security‑related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences.
Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency responders as required.
Follow all post orders and instructions from Allied Universal management and site leadership.
Minimum Requirements
Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security‑related experience, or possess a college degree.
Provide proof of high school diploma or GED.
Be at least 21 years old.
Armed guard card or license preferred.
Subject to background investigation per federal, state, and local laws.
Subject to drug screen to extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
