Quality Technician | Holt, MI
Salary Range:
$39,000 - $62,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
Perform incoming, in-process, and final product inspections according to specifications.
Conduct dimensional, visual, and functional testing of components and finished goods.
Document inspection results, non-conformances, and quality data accurately.
Identify and report non-conforming materials, assisting with root cause analysis and disposition.
Assist in the calibration, maintenance, and verification of inspection and test equipment.
Support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues.
Ensure compliance with quality management system (QMS) procedures and industry standards.
Recommended Qualifications
High school diploma or GED; Associate's degree or technical certification in a related field preferred.
1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing quality control or inspection role.
Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM).
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Basic understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS), SPC, and root cause analysis.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Bonus Qualifications
Lean/Six Sigma Yellow Belt or Green Belt certification
Experience with CMM programming or advanced metrology equipment
Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab)
Internal auditing experience or certification (e.g., ISO 9001)
