Salary Range:
$45,000 - $68,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
Perform dimensional and visual inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products against specifications.
Utilize precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM) to verify product conformance.
Document inspection results accurately in quality records, databases, and reports.
Identify, tag, and report non-conforming materials or products, initiating appropriate corrective action procedures.
Assist in the investigation of quality issues and participate in root cause analysis.
Conduct routine calibration checks and maintain the calibration status of inspection and test equipment.
Support the maintenance and improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS).
Recommended Qualifications
2+ years of experience in a manufacturing quality assurance or quality control role.
Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, optical comparators).
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Basic understanding of quality control principles, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and root cause analysis.
Strong computer literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) for data analysis.
ASQ certification (e.g., CQT, CQIA) or Six Sigma Green Belt.
Proficiency in CMM operation or programming.
Experience with root cause analysis methodologies (e.g., 8D, 5 Why).
Internal auditing experience for ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems.
