This Position reports to: Talent Acquisition Partner.

Work model: The role plays a critical part in facilitating ABB’s business growth and supporting various divisions across India, covering multiple locations and clusters.

Responsibilities

Define key targets and ensure their achievement by overseeing progress and defining improvement actions for customer support and satisfaction.

Ensure the most competitive offers considering the market situation and customer conditions; identify the most effective approach (direct sales, consortium, or channel) for better serving the customer. Oversee the validation of terms and conditions (commercial, technical, legal, pricing) in each offer; support bid/no bid analyses and decisions.

Participate in project risk review processes; ensure the required technical support and clarifications are provided to the Sales organizations during technical meetings, product presentations, and negotiations with customers.

Formulate competitive bids, estimates, and quotations by considering the best available product mix and appropriate technical and commercial aspects for each situation.

Create well‑documented tenders in a timely manner and with an appropriate level of detail, including full and accurate costs.

Manage the preparation of technical, financial, and, if required, project management aspects of the bid, estimate, and quotation, indicating prices and trading conditions.

Maintain and improve the balance between all ABB units and customers in your area of responsibility. Prepare proposals, collect technical and cost information, oversee estimations, bids, and proposals ensuring alignment with ABB standards and targets, and lead, develop, and coach the Sales Support team.

Qualifications

Enjoy preparing and implementing sales support strategies ensuring technical and commercial support for internal and external customers.

3 to 18 years of experience in Bidding & Proposals, Preparing Quotations, Formulating technical & commercial aspects for PLC, DCS, SCADA substation automation, LV & MV Switchgear, motors, drives, excitation systems, analyzers, field instruments, power electronics, and PCB.

Ensure quality and timely implementation of projects within the targeted cost.

Degree in Electrical / Mechanical engineering from a reputed university (full‑time).

Proficient in English communication.
