OPS Student Assistant - Department of Psychiatry
This position provides specialized administrative support for SB112 initiatives within the Center for Autism and Neurodevelopment (CAN). Responsibilities include assisting with social media and website updates, monitoring engagement, coordinating communications under the direction of the Public Relations Specialist II, and performing administrative tasks to ensure timely and accurate dissemination of information.
Responsibilities
Maintain and operate social media and website communication related to SB112.
Prepare and schedule SB112 announcements and outreach materials under the direction of the Public Relations Specialist II.
Website & Digital Presence.
Filter and route calls related to SB112 inquiries.
Maintain a communications calendar for SB112 activities.
Provide logistical support for SB112‑related events and outreach efforts.
Maintain and update center contact and subscription lists for the CAN newsletter.
Maintain event calendar.
Assist with creating infographics and other visual materials to support communication projects.
Conduct basic research and gather content to support SB112 communication goals.
Other Duties as Assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with social media analytics and content scheduling tools.
Familiarity with accessibility standards for web content.
Background in communications or public relations support.
