Position Overview
Ryder is hiring a Permanent Full Time Warehouse Forklift Operator in Montgomery, Alabama. Pay is $19.00 per hour with an additional $2.00 shift pay for the 3rd shift. Schedule is Monday - Friday 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM after training.

Responsibilities
Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
Perform duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
Accurately pick and pack, audit, tote induction, staging of products and load and unload trucks
Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing system during core shift hour of production
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
Valid forklift operator's license certified
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
Team player able to work within a diverse work environment
Highly thorough and dependable
Must be punctual and have a good attendance record
Perform work independently with minimal supervision
Possess a high degree of initiative
Demonstrate a high level of accuracy, even under pressure
Lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs
Stand for long periods of time
Work using health and safety methods
Flexible schedule on various work shifts
Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices
