Ryder Supply Chain Solutions . Ryder is immediately hiring a Permanent Full Time Warehouse Forklift Operator in Montgomery, Alabama.
Position Details Hourly Pay:
$19.00 per hour Overtime Pay:
$28.50 per hour Schedule:
Monday - Friday; 7am to 4pm
Responsibilities
Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
Maintain accurate picking, packing, and tote induction; stage products for loading/unloading trucks.
Handle day‑to‑day paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.).
Provide technical and maintenance support for the automated packing system during core shift hours.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
Valid Forklift Operator's License.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team; team player in a diverse environment.
Highly thorough, dependable, punctual with a good attendance record.
Performs work independently with minimal supervision and a high degree of initiative.
Demonstrates a high level of accuracy, even under pressure.
Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs; stand for long periods.
Must be available to work on a flexible schedule across various shifts.
Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices.
