Job Description
Material Handler
Schedule 12 Hour Night Shifts (6:30pm-7:00am). Days worked will rotate.
Basic Purpose The Material Handler is responsible for picking orders and loading/unloading cases of product to and from trailers and containers, and must ensure the accuracy of all orders picked and also inspects the cases and product for quality issues. The incumbent will ensure that the appropriate materials are supplied to their assigned production areas and lines, will shrink‑wrap any material to be stored or returned to the warehouse, and will check pallet tickets and loads for accuracy.
Essential Functions
35% Supply materials to the line
35% Remove finished goods from line
20% SAP Transactions
10% Forklift required checks
Job Qualifications Education High School Diploma or equivalent. Demonstrated ability to understand, communicate, read, and write basic work‑related English.
Experience The position holder must become certified to operate a forklift and pass a mandatory forklift physical.
Specialized Knowledge
Identify numerous finished products.
Perform necessary SAP transactions.
Perform routine forklift checklist.
Change forklift battery using proper PPE.
Operate and perform hoist inspection.
Assist in unloading raw materials and packaging materials.
Bale plastic and cardboard and take away trash to compactor.
Special Skills The incumbent will also be trained to perform various jobs within the warehouse consistent with the skill level and physical demands of the position.

Physical Requirements
Rare lifting up to 50 lbs.
Ensure quality of product in all orders picked.
Knowledge of warehouse operating procedures.
Certified to operate a forklift.
