Role Overview Support the Session Monitor / Lead Psychiatrist during psychedelic dosing sessions at Paradigm Clinical Research’s new site in Redding, CA. This role involves direct patient interaction and plays a critical part in maintaining participant safety and protocol compliance throughout the study.
Responsibilities
Assist with participant preparation and dosing session support
Monitor participants during sessions and provide therapeutic assistance as needed
Help maintain a calm, supportive environment during dosing and integration phases
Participate in training and credentialing activities
Ensure adherence to study protocols and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards
Document observations and assist with data collection as required
Qualifications
Licensed mental health professional (psychologist, social worker, psychiatrist, LMHC, LCP)
OR Bachelor’s degree plus at least 1 year of psychotherapy experience
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Comfortable with direct patient interaction in a clinical research setting
Psychedelic experience preferred but not mandatory
