Overview Joule is currently looking to hire "dosing facilitator" who will work at the ground level for a new psychedelic-focused site in Redding, CA. Initial work will be ad hoc, focused on the following activities.
Site preparation
Training and credentialing staff
Feasibility studies
Hours will increase significantly as trials are awarded. Additional responsibilities include facilitator training, scheduling, onboarding, and supporting post-session therapeutic integration. You will prepare participants for psilocybin dosing sessions and collaborate during dosing.
Responsibilities
Lead dosing sessions and ensure protocol compliance
Oversee site readiness and staff training
Collaborate with an Assistant Monitor for patient interaction and support
Provide client-facing leadership during feasibility, site preparation, and trials
Administer clinical assessments directly
Requirements
MD with psychiatry specialization and rater experience (e.g., MADRS, HAM-D)
Minimum 5 years in practice; clinical research experience preferred
Direct patient interaction experience required
Psychedelic research experience ideal but not mandatory
Strong leadership and client-facing skills
