Job Description
This role is responsible for the shipping, receiving, storing, distributing, and order fulfillment of merchandise, products, materials, parts, supplies, and equipment. Key duties include checking goods received and for distribution against purchase orders or invoices, maintaining accurate records, performing cycle counting, packaging products for final shipment, posting weights and shipping charges, reviewing customer orders, and troubleshooting complex material/warehouse issues.
Responsibilities
Perform administrative and physical tasks involved in shipping, receiving, storing, staging, and supplying raw materials, work‑in‑process, finished goods, parts, and supplies to operators, workstations, and the distribution center.
Prepare goods for shipment and conduct bin‑to‑bin transfers for all moves from the warehouse to PSA’s.
Complete all necessary SAP training and use SAP for transactions, locating materials, and running material staging.
Manage material orders from outside vendors, handle deliveries, and perform goods receipts.
Carry out cycle counts to maintain accurate inventories and keep required material levels in various PSA’s.
Use independent judgment for troubleshooting and problem‑solving with minimal supervision.
Support supervisors, provide training for onboarding, assist with special projects, and follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Adhere to client housekeeping, safety policies, and be willing to work overtime as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
High school diploma and at least 4 years of relevant experience, with a minimum of 1 year in SAP and forklift operations.
Experience with material handling equipment such as pallet jack, forklift, and shrink wrapper.
Valid driver’s license.
Forklift certification required.
Certification in Dangerous Goods (DG) including IATA, DOT DG, or IMDG.
Extensive SAP knowledge.
Basic Skills
Ability to handle manual and routine assignments with attention to deviations from specifications.
Effective teamwork and communication across departments.
Meticulous recordkeeping and log maintenance, both manually and electronically.
Ability to manage frequent assignment changes.
Proficient/Working Skills
Proficiency in English for reading, writing, analysis, and simple calculations.
Basic PC and Windows proficiency.
Independent judgment in planning, decision‑making, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving.
Capacity to work in a repetitive environment and stand for extended periods.
