Pay Range:

$69,762.00–$109,721.00 per year. Salary awards will be determined by experience, skills and applicable policy.

Summary:

The Social Worker will provide clinical social work and case management services to Veterans in the HUD–VASH program. The position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP).

Qualifications

United States citizenship.

Master’s degree in social work from a CSWE‑accredited program.

State licensure or certification at the independent practice level (except for GS‑9 grade where a waiver may apply).

Proficiency in spoken and written English.

Knowledge and skills: psychosocial assessment, treatment planning, implementation of evidence‑based modalities, community resource referral, and ability to work with diverse populations.

Preferred Experience

At least one year of mental health experience.

Case management experience with homeless or at‑risk Veterans.

Knowledge of HUD‑VASH and VA health care processes.

Responsibilities

Provide clinical social work and case management to Veterans in HUD‑VASH.

Screen client eligibility and conduct comprehensive psychosocial evaluations.

Develop and implement Housing Stability Plans and treatment plans.

Assist Veterans with housing voucher recertification and portability processes.

Coordinate with VA health care providers and community agencies.

Document services, progress, and outcomes in the electronic health record.

Participate in program meetings, conferences, and trainings.

Schedule & Benefits

Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (flexible options may be approved).

Paid time off: 37–50 days per year.
