We're seeking an experienced Senior Email Marketing Manager to lead our email, sms and app marketing strategy and execution. This role will be responsible for driving revenue growth through sophisticated email campaigns, automation flows, and customer engagement strategies. The ideal candidate is a Klaviyo expert with a proven track record in ecommerce email marketing. This role blends strategic thinking with hands‑on execution: you’ll build segmented cross‑channel journeys that feel seamless to the customer, develop a promotional cadence that drives urgency without sacrificing brand integrity, and continuously optimize performance through testing, measurement, and iteration. Develop and execute comprehensive email marketing strategies that drive revenue, increase customer lifetime value, and strengthen brand loyalty Own the email marketing calendar, including promotional campaigns, product launches, seasonal collections, flash sales, and brand storytelling Create and optimize automated email flows including welcome series, browse abandonment, cart abandonment, post‑purchase, win‑back campaigns, and VIP customer journeys Create and manage all email campaigns per month while maintaining brand consistency and high‑quality standards Design and execute strategic promotional campaigns including site‑wide sales, category‑specific promotions, product drops and limited‑time deals Loyalty Program & Customer Retention

Lead email marketing strategies for Baltic Born's loyalty program, driving enrollment, engagement, and point redemption Create personalized communications that celebrate customer milestones, birthdays, and anniversaries Partner with loyalty lead to optimize loyalty program performance and maximize customer lifetime value Transactional Email Management

Own and optimize all transactional email communications including order confirmations, shipping notifications, delivery updates, and return/exchange confirmations Ensure transactional emails are on‑brand, optimized for cross‑sell opportunities, and provide exceptional customer experience Monitor transactional email performance and deliverability to maintain high engagement and low complaint rates Implement dynamic product recommendations and personalized content within transactional messages SMS Marketing

Develop and manage SMS marketing strategy within Klaviyo, creating campaigns that complement email initiatives Build automated SMS flows for high‑intent moments including cart abandonment, back‑in‑stock alerts, and order updates Maintain compliance with TCPA regulations and SMS best practices Test and optimize SMS messaging, timing, and frequency to maximize engagement while respecting subscriber preferences Grow SMS subscriber list through strategic opt‑in campaigns and cross‑channel promotion Analyze SMS performance metrics and ROI to continuously improve program effectiveness App Push Notifications

Develop and execute app push notification strategy to drive engagement, conversions, and app retention Create automated push notification flows that align with email and SMS journeys for a cohesive cross‑channel experience Design campaigns for new arrivals, price drops, abandoned browse/cart, back‑in‑stock alerts, and personalized recommendations Implement sophisticated segmentation and personalization strategies to deliver relevant, timely push notifications Monitor opt‑in rates, engagement metrics, and conversion performance to optimize push notification effectiveness Balance push notification frequency across all channels to avoid over‑messaging and maintain positive user experience Stay current on mobile app marketing best practices and platform‑specific guidelines (iOS and Android) Serve as the Klaviyo platform expert, leveraging advanced features including predictive analytics, dynamic content, and custom properties Build and maintain complex audience segments based on customer behavior, purchase history, engagement patterns, and predictive metrics Develop A/B and multivariate testing strategies to continuously improve performance across subject lines, content, send times, and creative elements Implement and optimize advanced personalization strategies using Klaviyo’s recommendation engine and custom data feeds Orchestrate cross‑channel campaigns across email, SMS, and push notifications to create unified customer journeys Manage channel preferences and frequency caps to optimize engagement across all touchpoints Performance & Analytics

Monitor and analyze key performance metrics across all channels including email revenue per recipient, conversion rates, open rates, click‑through rates, SMS engagement, push notification opt‑in rates, and deliverability metrics Create regular performance reports with actionable insights and strategic recommendations across email, SMS, and push channels Establish benchmarks and KPIs for each channel, consistently working to exceed performance goals Utilize predictive analytics to forecast campaign performance and identify growth opportunities Analyze cross‑channel customer journeys to identify optimization opportunities and improve conversion paths Partner with the graphic designer to develop compelling email designs that reflect Baltic Born’s brand aesthetic and drive conversions Write persuasive, on‑brand copy that resonates with our fashion‑conscious audience Collaborate with merchandising and e‑commerce team members to align email content with inventory, promotions, and collection launches Work cross‑functionally with paid media, social, and web teams to ensure cohesive customer experiences Implement strategies to grow the email subscriber base through website optimization, pop‑ups, and cross‑channel initiatives Maintain excellent email deliverability through list hygiene best practices, authentication protocols, and engagement‑based segmentation Stay current on email marketing regulations, privacy laws, and industry best practices Technical Skills

Advanced knowledge of email marketing best practices, deliverability, and CAN‑SPAM compliance Strong understanding of SMS marketing regulations including TCPA compliance Experience with mobile app push notification best practices and platform guidelines (iOS/Android) Strong analytical skills with experience using Google Analytics, Klaviyo reporting, and data visualization tools HTML/CSS knowledge for email troubleshooting and customization Familiarity with Shopify or similar e‑commerce platforms Understanding of mobile attribution and app analytics tools Required Qualifications

5+ years of email marketing experience in e‑commerce, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role Expert‑level proficiency in Klaviyo is mandatory and must demonstrate deep platform knowledge and hands‑on experience Proven experience in fashion, apparel, or lifestyle e‑commerce brands Track record of driving significant revenue growth through email marketing initiatives Experience managing high‑volume email programs (1M+ subscribers preferred) Hands‑on experience with SMS marketing strategy and execution Experience with app push notification campaigns and mobile app marketing Experience with loyalty program marketing and customer retention strategies Strong background in promotional campaign planning and execution Demonstrated success managing transactional email programs Proven ability to manage cross‑channel marketing campaigns and optimize the customer journey across multiple touchpoints
