Position Summary Assist the head coach with all aspects of the Men’s Soccer program including practice, competition activities, player skill development, recruiting, planning and implementing daily practices and competitions, organizing clinics, and overall program administration. Demonstrate integrity, leadership, commitment, and ability to motivate, teach, counsel, and recruit academically qualified students.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements Minimum of a bachelor’s degree required (or foreign degree equivalent) with at least 1 year of experience in relevant independent instructional or educational activities; specific minimum experience is at the discretion of the Director of Athletics.
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
2-5 years of coaching experience in an intercollegiate environment preferably at a Division I level.
Knowledge of and familiarity with NCAA rules and regulations.
Good organizational, interpersonal communication, and computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Prefer at least 1 year in relevant independent or educational activities.
Special Physical/Mental Requirements
Must be able to lift or move 25 lbs or greater.
May be required to navigate stairs.
Attention to detail essential.
Must be able to manage a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment.
May be subject to working in extreme weather conditions.
Travel required.
Campus Security Authority Responsibilities This position is designated as a Campus Security Authority in accordance with the Clery Act. The officer will report Clery crimes to the Clery Compliance Manager and complete annual training on reporting responsibilities.
