Job Description Kids by the Bunch is a privately owned and operated Early Learning Childcare Center located in Syosset, New York. We provide care and education for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years during the academic year, and for children ages 5 to 12 during our Summer Camp. We are currently seeking a nurturing, enthusiastic, and dedicated Lead Preschool Teacher who is passionate about early childhood education and committed to supporting the growth and development of young children. Key Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to): Creating a warm, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment Developing and implementing lesson plans aligned with the New York State Next Generation Learning Standards for both large and small group activities Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe classroom space Building strong, professional communication with families regarding each child’s progress and daily experiences Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or Actively pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education or Current CDA (Child Development Associate) in Preschool or Willingness to obtain a CDA in Preschool If you are a positive, team-oriented professional who is passionate about early learning, we encourage you to apply and join our dedicated team.
