Join a foundation as the Special Assistant to the CEO, partnering closely with the CEO to help advance meaningful, long‑term impact. This role offers a unique opportunity to support the leadership of a growing foundation, helping transform ideas, conversations, and commitments into thoughtful action that serves communities and causes beyond the organization itself. The Special Assistant to the CEO acts as a trusted collaborator, bringing clarity, follow‑through, and care to the C‑suite’s work alongside high‑level administrative support. From preparing for important conversations to ensuring initiatives stay aligned with mission and values, you’ll operate as a connector across teams as this role is well‑suited for someone who finds purpose in enabling leaders to do their most impactful work.

Key Responsibilities:

Partner closely with the C‑suite to organize priorities, manage workflows, and ensure decisions are clearly documented and executed.

Support high‑level meetings by preparing briefings, materials, and agendas, and capturing outcomes, next steps, and ownership.

Sense‑check materials and recommendations, flagging risks, gaps, or inconsistencies before they reach senior audiences.

Serve as a trusted conduit of information between leadership and teams, ensuring insights, feedback, and progress updates are shared thoughtfully and accurately.

Track follow‑ups across multiple initiatives, ensuring progress is visible and momentum is sustained.

Draft and refine written communications, email correspondence, presentations, and updates on behalf of the C‑suite for internal and external audiences.

Help design and maintain core leadership rhythms, including executive meetings, team forums, and planning cycles.

Coordinate cross‑functionally, aligning stakeholders around shared goals, timelines, and expectations.

Support strategic planning and special projects by monitoring milestones, surfacing risks, and organizing inputs for leadership review.

Oversee select external relationships and agreements, tracking deliverables, timelines, and obligations in partnership with operations teams.

Why You’ll Love Working Here:

A front‑row seat to leadership decision‑making and organizational strategy that contributes to mission‑driven outcomes and long‑term impact.

A supportive, mission‑aligned foundation that values efficiency, initiative, and integrity.

Highly competitive benefit offerings.

Hybrid work model with flexibility for additional days in‑office when needed.

What We’re Looking For:

Executive‑facing experience. You bring significant experience supporting senior leaders in roles such as strategy, operations, or chief‑of‑staff–type positions.

Executive presence. You bring credibility, composure, and confidence to every interaction with senior leaders, board members, and external partners.

Exceptionally organized. You bring structure to complexity, skillfully balancing multiple priorities and timelines while staying grounded in the organization’s broader mission and goals.

Clear communicator. You distill nuanced ideas into thoughtful, actionable messaging.

Discreet. You exercise strong judgment, know when to elevate, and handle sensitive information with care.

Strategic executor. You enjoy turning ideas into plans, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring work gets done.

Collaborative by nature. You build trust across teams and functions, acting as a facilitator rather than a bottleneck.
