About The Learning Experience The Learning Experience – Ashburn is seeking a caring and dependable
Infant Teacher
to join our early childhood education team. Our infant classrooms provide a warm, safe, and developmentally supportive environment where babies learn through nurturing interactions, sensory exploration, and hands‑on experiences.
If you have prior experience working in an infant classroom and love supporting children during their earliest stages of development, this is an excellent opportunity to grow your career in a high‑quality childcare setting.
Key Responsibilities
Provide attentive, responsive care to infants ages 6 weeks to 12 months.
Create a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment.
Support daily routines including feeding, diapering, naps, and individualized care needs.
Implement age‑appropriate learning activities that promote sensory, cognitive, and motor development.
Build trusting relationships with families and provide daily communication regarding each child’s progress.
Maintain classroom safety, cleanliness, and compliance with Virginia licensing standards.
Collaborate with co‑teachers and center leadership to ensure high‑quality care.
Qualifications
Previous experience working in an infant classroom required.
High school diploma or GED required.
Coursework or certification in Early Childhood Education (ECE) preferred.
Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices for infants.
CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
Must meet all Virginia childcare licensing requirements.
