Location: 9985 S. Twenty Mile Rd., Parker, CO 80134 — Willowbrae Academy Employment Type: Full-Time | In-Person (Monday – Friday with some evenings and weekends)

Role Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Infant Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of early childhood education principles and demonstrate a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for infants aged 6 weeks to 18 months. This role involves planning and implementing age‑appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.

Key Responsibilities

Curriculum Implementation: develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards for infants and our blended curriculum.

Classroom Environment: create a safe and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.

Child Assessment: monitor and assess children’s progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs.

Relationship Building: foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff to support children’s development.

Behavior Management: implement behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions among students and support children with special needs or disabilities through tailored instructional strategies.

Classroom Maintenance: maintain classroom organization and cleanliness while ensuring all materials are accessible and free of hazards.

Collaboration: collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum and share best practices in teaching.

Health and Safety: provide supervision and organized attendance tracking, administer first aid as necessary, and ensure the health and safety of all children in your care.

Maintain Individualized Infant Care Plans: follow individualized care plans for infants in your care and work with families on a regular basis to adjust care based on development and readiness.

Supportive Environment To aid in the health, safety, and overall well‑being of our children and staff, Willowbrae Academy provides:

On‑Site Kitchen: all meals are prepared in our Academy’s kitchen facilities, ensuring nutritious and balanced meals for the children and teachers. Infants will have a blend of home‑provided bottles with breastmilk or formula and school‑provided infant snacks, purees, and kitchen‑made options.

Professional Cleaning Services: our facilities are maintained by a professional cleaning crew, ensuring a clean and hygienic environment.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: competitive hourly wage of $20–$25 an hour based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

Level 2 PDIS Certificate required.

EQUIT/Pyramid Plus/Infant Program Supervisor Certificate desired.

Willingness to obtain EQUIT/Pyramid Plus/IPS Level.

Up to date on PDIS State required trainings.

Ability to pass state required background checks.

Experience: previous experience working with infants in a licensed child‑care setting preferred.

First aid certification: preferred; training may be provided if not currently certified.

Child Development Knowledge: strong background in childhood development principles, including knowledge of infant care, toddler care, and preschool experience.

Classroom Management: experience with classroom management techniques that foster a positive learning environment.

Behavior Management: familiarity with behavior management strategies to effectively address diverse student needs.
