South Dakota State University Cashier’s Office is looking for a new Cashier to help with student billing and payments, file management, university deposits and other accounts receivable responsibilities. Job Responsibilities
Student account billing and related questions
Cash asset management and audit university deposits
Student account collections

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Knowledge of:
Interacting with a variety of software and other platforms
Account receivable and account reconciliation processes
Basic accounting practices, principles, and 1098T tax documents
Manage customer expectations by providing timely and accurate information
Utilize computer systems to extract information requested by clients and university administrators
Demonstrate proficiency in Outlook and Excel
Communicate effectively in person, over the phone, and electronic messaging when collecting outstanding student accounts
Deliver professional customer service in a wide range of interactions
Handle large sums of money while accurately identifying discrepancies
